GeoArt will be the newest addition to Highlands East thanks to some funds from council.
GeoCaching committee member Joanne Vanier says the new project will attract repeat customers next year, to continue the success of this year’s GeoTour.
Councillors agreed to transfer $400 from each of their advisory committees in order to support the project. The total is $2,000.
Vanier also says they have a three year development plan including an information centre and a canoe route. Councillors will discuss supporting those projects at budget time.
