Universities May Not Be As Close To Home As You Think

A university close to Haliburton is ceasing programs that happen to be close to home.

Nipissing University has decided to end all academic programs that are offered in Muskoka as of June 30^th.

The decision was made during a meeting of Nipissing Board of Governors on February fifth.

Members of the Muskoka community did encourage the Board to reconsider.

The town will be holding a public meeting early March to talk about the opportunities for the Nipissing facilities.
