Twenty-four vulnerable people could have homes by July 2018

The number of people who are homeless in Haliburton County will be determined soon.

This comes from a nationwide campaign which aims to home 20,000 vulnerable people in Canada.

During the week of August 22nd to the 26th, the 20,000 homes campaign will be in the area counting the number of homelessness in Haliburton County, and the City of Kawartha Lakes.

The organization wants to house 24 people in the community by July 1st, 2018.

The results of this survey will be shared with the community on August 26.
