It’s the second and final day of the Haliburton Highlands Health Radiothon.
All the money raised is going towards a Bone Densitometer for our local hospitals.
CEO of Haliburton Highlands Health Services Carolyn Plummer says this fundraiser is very important for all the health services in Haliburton County.
Plummer says the government gives them money to provide a basic level of care, but when they want to add new equipment or improve facilities it becomes a challenge.
