Things are looking positive for a picnic shelter at Oxtongue Lake.
The Oxtongue Lake Community Centre Committee applied for a Canada 150 grant, which will go towards the shelter if they are accepted.
They have received follow up calls from the funders, which is a positive sign the application is being considered.
The committee says the letters of support and pledges are helping because it’s very positive for the application.
