Lake of Bay is speaking back to the Reeve of Algonquin Highlands.
In a recent council meeting, Carol Moffatt said the township is getting involved with the issue of heavy fall traffic around the Dorset Tower, and it is a problem for Algonquin Highlands to deal with. However, Lake of Bays Mayor Bob Young says he hasn’t been formally approached about the issue. He says although the Dorset Tower isn’t in Lake of Bays, the traffic can cause an issue for the township.
Young says he hasn’t heard about the issue from Algonquin Highlands, and no formal resolutions are on the table to do something about the traffic.
