Eat Right Ontario helping Haliburton make healthy choices as Nutrition Month kicks off

A government funded service is helping Haliburton residents make healthy eating choices, all for free. It’s called Eat Right Ontario, and anyone can call to ask their nutrition-related questions.

Registered Dietitian Tracy Morris says they’re raising awareness about the service, because Nutrition Month kicks off in Canada tomorrow. She says the goal is to help the community take the fight out of food.

Morris says those issues can range from dieting tips, to eating for things like high cholesterol and diabetes. Eat Right Ontario is funded by the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care.
