Haliburton County is being recognized by the United Nations as a Regional Centre of Expertise (RCE) for sustainability.
R-C-E Advisor Jane Gray tells us what that means.
Gray also says having schools that teach skills like the arts, and green building design are key in receiving the designation.

Only three areas in Ontario have the designation.
