After school program has enough students to fill another two classes

Dysart et al wants to offer its after-school program to more students. According to Recreation and Programming Coordinator Andrea Mueller, the program is currently at capacity with 30 children. Mueller says she was not surprised the program filled up.

Mueller adds there are enough kids on the waiting list to fill an additional two programs. She says the municipality will apply for a provincial grant to go towards growing the program.

The program will run until June 21st at  Stuart Baker Elementary School. The program is once a week on Wednesdays and involves all kinds of activities from sports to arts and crafts and is for children between the ages of six and nine years of age.
