OPP saw a lot of public engagement during their distracted driving campaign last week. Running from Mar. 14 – 20, officers were out looking for people who were driving while trying to operate their mobile device, changing the stereo or eating and drinking.
In their wrap up, OPP report a lot of people, including children, were engaged through social media sharing the dangers of distracted driving.
Brad Blair is the Deputy Commissioner and he sent out a thank you to the public for working towards their goal of making distracted driving socially unacceptable.
