Students challenged to ‘Change the World’

Over 640 thousand volunteer hours have been clocked in the annual Change the World campaign, and Haliburton County teenagers can get involved. With youth ages 15 to 24 having the highest volunteer rate in the province, they are challenging them to change the world in their communities.

The campaign is in its eighth year running, and this year’s goal is to get 37 thousand teenagers out volunteering.

The challenge is to put in at least three hours before it ends on May 24.

To join the challenge, go to their website. The conversation is also happening on Facebook, YouTube, Twitter and Flickr.
