Enviro-Heroes sign petition to launch Blue Dot Campaign in Haliburton County

Environment Haliburton launched the nation-wide Blue Dot Campaign in Haliburton County last night. It happened at Nature’s Place in Minden, where president Carolynn Coburn said Canada’s environmental performance is a national disgrace.

The campaign was started to change the charter of rights and freedoms to include the right to a healthy environment.

Past Enviro-Heroes of Haliburton County were in attendance to sign the petition. Environment Haliburton is looking for people to get involved and help circulate the petition over the next several months.
