Local residents who want to get some more information about issues that are facing seniors in our community can go to a seniors seminar.
Local MP Barry Devolin is putting it on, along with our MPP Laurie Scott.
People will hear presentations from the Canadian Mental Health Association and the Heart and Stroke Foundation. They’ll also get information about dementia and arthritis, among other things.
It’s taking place at the Haliburton Legion on June 26 from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
