Local organizations have access to Canada 150 Infrastructure Fund

A new 150 million dollar infrastructure fund was just announced for Canada and local organizations and municipalities could get a piece of it. The fund is celebrating Canada’s 150th anniversary of Confederation.

The program is meant to give support for renovations, expansion or rehabilitation of existing infrastructure. The Municipality of Dysart is applying to fund improvements to Rotary Park which could include resurfacing the tennis courts.

Local municipalities, libraries, recreational facilities and not-for-profit organizations are eligible to apply.

More information can be found on the Canada 150 website.
