With Canada Day around the corner, Haliburton Highlands OPP officers are conducting a traffic safety initiative. They’re focusing on the “Big Four”.
According to police, impaired operation, distracted driving, aggressive driving and seat belt compliance are the driving behaviours that put people at risk the most.
People can expect to see higher volumes of traffic in Haliburton County, so OPP says if you think someone may be driving impaired, call 911.
