The HKPR District Health Unit has tested beaches in Haliburton County and two are posted with high bacteria levels. Rotary beach in Head Lake Park and Glamour Lake Beach in Highlands East both have posted signs saying it’s unsafe for swimming.
The rest of the beaches in Haliburton County are safe for swimming.
