Local business donates to community organizations

It’s a happy time of year for six local organizations receiving $1,000 each.

Parker Pad and Printing is celebrating six years in the county by giving the donation.

The Home Builders Association toy drive, Geriatric Assessment and Intervention Network and Haliburton Sculpture Forest are some of the recipients. The donation was also given to the Lions Club, the Haliburton Pet Owners’ Assistance Fund and Fuel for Warmth.
