Police are currently accepting applications for Marine Assistant positions.
Haliburton Highlands OPP says they are accepting one marine student for the summer 2016 season.
The purpose of the program is to gain exposure and experience with law enforcement through a hands-on experience.
They say student will learn about marine safety as well as boat maintenance and prepare reports.
Applicants must be 18-years-old or older, must have a boaters licence, minimum g2 driver’s license and CPR/First Aid qualifications.
