The township of Highlands East has developed an emergency response plan.

The township says the aim is to know what steps have to be taken to protect the safety, health and welfare of residents, businesses and visitors in case of an emergency.

This includes what roles and responsibilities must be undertaken by some municipal officials, departments and agencies in such a case.

Physical copies are available at the township’s municipal office, or you can go to www.highlandeast.ca for a digital copy.
