Residents in Haliburton County could be seeing a nearly 4-per cent tax increase. The county’s Finance and Correspondence Committee wants the municipality to set aside an extra 280-thousand dollars for reserve in this year’s budget. Councillor Liz Danielsen feels the budget is not ready.
The draft of the 2016 budget will be presented at the next council meeting.
