A popular cardiologist to some residents in Haliburton County is facing allegations on over testing patients and over-billing OHIP.

According to Toronto Sun, Peterborough cardiologist Bill Hughes hearing has been moved to March.

Victoria cardiologist Dave Massell reviewed Hughes practice and says that Hughes saw too many patients a day, kept sloppy records and misdiagnosed a heart murmur.

The Toronto Sun says the founder of Kawartha Cardiology Clinic has denied all allegations, which haven’t been proven.
