Environment Canada says freezing rain and snow is heading towards Haliburton County.
Meteorologist say an arctic cold front is expected to move southeast across the regions tonight, then stall on a line from the Bruce Peninsula across Georgian Bay to the east end of Lake Ontario on Sunday.
Travelling conditions are expected to deteriorate tonight and Sunday after the precipitation moves in.
More details will be released once the weather event draws closer.
