The manager position at the Chamber of Commerce Office will remain unfilled until further research on best practices.
At the March 22nd Board of Directors meeting of the Haliburton Highlands Chamber of Commerce, they decided to meet with the Bancroft and District Chamber to ensure the chamber is running efficiently.
President Jerry Walker says the board is confident these steps will lead the office operations in a direction that will best serve their members.
Walker noted they should have a long-term solution in place in the coming months.
