The Haliburton Highlands OPP laid 77 speeding charges during the Easter Long Weekend Seat Belt Campaign.
Officers were highly visible on the roads during March 25th to March 28th to ensure drivers were safe this long weekend was safe.
A total of nine seatbelt charges were laid in Haliburton County and one charge for impaired driving.
OPP is counting on drivers to not allow themselves to be distracted and to not be on the roads if consuming alcohol or drugs.
