HKPR Will Still Offer Programs To The Brighton Community

The Haliburton-Kawartha Lakes-Pine Ridge District Health Unit has decided to close the Brighton office but will continue to offer programs in the community.

The Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board at East Northumberland Secondary School has offered rental space to hold classes and other group sessions.

The health unit says they will be saving $115,000 by closing the office.

They noted that a drop off location for water bottles and tick samples will be set up for Brighton residents.
