The Haliburton County Home Builders Association is once again helping out county food banks with their Charity Hockey Tournament. 16 years ago organizer Aggie Tose paid a visit to a local food bank shortly after Christmas and was shocked at how little was left on the shelves. You can help while having fun this weekend. The first game is Friday night at 7 with Championship games starting on Saturday night. Admission is by donation at the door for all games. It’s happening at the A.J. LaRue arena in Haliburton.
