A Place called Home is in desperate need of money. This winter has been particularly difficult for those who are having trouble keeping a roof over their heads and food on the table. The not for profit charity has asked the county for a donation of $6,000 and are hoping for good news. Coordinator Tina Jackson says they need $6,500 more by April 1 to continue to provide services to the community. A fundraiser was planned for later this month, but Ms Jackson says the resources needed to put it together are better spent providing immediate help to clients in the county.
