The Municipality of Dysart et al is still fundraising to improve the Haliburton Junction Skate Park after they were denied a trillium grant.
Program Coordinator Andrea Mueller says she thinks the project is important because there isn’t much to do in the area for kids between the ages 11 and 18.
She says they are in the middle of planning more fundraising events.
She is hoping to have the money by next year.
