A proposal to put a scrap yard just off of Highway 35 near Hunter Creek Estates has the GLCA concerned about the environment.
President of the Gull Lake Cottager’s Association Keith Kennedy says the site isn’t suitable for a scrap yard.
He says he’s not anti-development, but he’s not endorsing a location on, or near, a wetland for this type of business.
He says he will continue to do everything he can to not let this happen.
