The Haliburton Refugee Sponsorship Committee is proud to announce a refugee family of 10 will be joining the Haliburton Highlands community soon.
Spokesperson David Barker says there is no set timeframe for when the family will arrive, but it’s estimated they will come this summer.
He says the community has been positive about this endeavour, and he is thrilled that the hard work of so many is coming to fruition.
