According to Natural Resources Canada, the average motorist can reduce their fuel use by 25 per cent by adopting a driving technique.
The Tire and Rubber Associations of Canada Glenn Maidment is trying to educate people in Haliburton County with the Get Fuel Fit Guide.
Maidment says according to Leger survey 88 percent of motorists feel drivers have a moral obligation to protect the environment by ensuring their cars are as fuel efficient as possible.
