The Haliburton Highlands OPP has concluded its Canada Road Safety Week and Victoria Day Long Weekend Safe Driving Campaign.
Between May 17th, and May 23rd, police laid 123 charges.
Officials say these are the results of the campaign charges:
·        Speeding – 90
·        Stunt Driving/Racing- 4
·        Careless Driving- 1
·        Seatbelt charges – 6
·        Suspended Drivers – 9
·        Impaired Driving-1
·        Three-Day Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspensions- 3
·        Other Moving violations – 9
They would like to remind the public to be safe behind the wheel.
The Haliburton Highlands OPP is thanking the public for reporting unsafe drivers.
