The site restoration and clean-up of the new dam at Kennisis Lake was supposed to be finished last week.
External Relations Manager Darryl Whitehead says they hope to have the work completed by the end of this week.
Parks Canada is thanking residents for their understanding during the process.
Although the work will be done this week, Darryl Whitehead says a contractor will be back in the fall to complete additional concrete work.
