The township of Algonquin Highlands has decided to donate an item for the Oxtongue Lake Canada Day Silent Auction.
Councillor Marlene Kyle says the committee wants to go big for the event.
The municipality is donating one canoe rental and camping for two for one night at the Haliburton Highlands Water Trails.
Councillor Brian Lynch says this event is a great idea.
It will be held at the community centre on July 1st, from 11:00am to 2:00pm.
