The Trillium Lakelands District School Board has approved the new multi-year strategic plan.
Officials say the plan highlights three main focus areas for high levels of student achievement.
Director of Education Larry Hope says the plan shows the commitment of educating the whole child by not only teaching and learning, but also the well-being of the student.
Chair of the board Louise Clodd says this will guide system leadership and trustees in their planning and conversations around helping students become the very best they can be.
The new plan was developed after TLDSB gathered thoughts from staff, students, parents and community members through an online engagement tool.
