The Oxtongue Lake Community Centre is planning its annual Canada Day celebration
Algonquin Highlands Councillor Marlene Kyle says they have discussed having a BBQ by the firefighters association.
Kyle says she will be presenting the idea at the next firefighters’ meeting.
She says they will have kid’s games, a silent auction, music and cupcakes.
Kyle says they are hoping to have a drum circle as well.
