The Special Olympics and OPP are having a torch run to bring community awareness to the group.
Committee Member Heather Robert says they will have buckets for donations along with pins and balloons to hand out as well.
Robert says it’s not only about donations, it’s to bring community awareness to the group.
The event is this Saturday. They will also be going to Kinmount and ending at the Minden Legion around 1:00pm.
