News Our Local MPP Waits For An Action Plan From The Wynne Government SHARE ON: Kaitlin Livingston, contributor, Thursday, Jun. 30th, 2016 Our local MPP is calling on the Wynne government to release an action plan to combat human trafficking in Ontario. Haliburton-Kawartha Lakes-Brock MPP Laurie Scott says Premier Wynne promised a plan would be introduced this month, but it still hasn’t been released. Scott says if the government fails to put forward an effective strategy, girls and young women will continue to be victimized by traffickers. She says with only a day left of June, it’s clear tackling this crime is not a priority for the Wynne government.
