The Extension of The Canada Post Lockout Gives You Time To Prepare

The Haliburton Highlands Chamber of Commerce wants local businesses to be as prepared as they can be if Canada Post goes on strike and lockout.

Member Services Representative Autumn Smith says the lockout means some post offices will be open, but they won’t be accepting or delivering mail.

Smith says the CRA has issued a statement saying people will still be required to make payments on time.

According to Canada Post, the lockout has been extended to Monday at 12:00 am.
