Runners will hit the streets of Minden to raise money for affordable housing for those in need.
The 45th annual Highland Yard charity run is on Sunday, July 31st.
Race Director Jack Russell says the funds from the race will go towards reducing mortgage and maintenance costs on properties operated by Places for People.
Russell says the organization is unique because it’s not just about setting people up in a home and collecting their money.
He’s hoping to raise $18,000.
