Local police face some some tough hockey competition starting today.
They are playing in several hockey games against area Grade 8 students
in games that have been an annual tradition for close to 20 years.
They are fun and it gives officers and students a chance to bond and
build relationships. The public is invited to come out, cheer and
watch.
The first game happened yesterday vs. J. Douglas Hodgson Elementary School
between 1 and 2 pm at A.J. Larue Arena. The second will pit the OPP
against Archie Stouffer Elementary School on Thursday, March 6th
between 2 and 3pm at  the S.G. Nesbitt Arena. The third happens Friday
March 28th at the Keith Tallman Memorial Arena in Wilberforce against
Wilberforce Elementary School
