Driver gets charged after going 100 km over the speed limit

Driving over 100 km over the speed limit in Highlands East has led to charges for a Toronto man.

The Haliburton Highlands OPP says the man was caught driving 181 km/h in an 80 zone on County Road 503 last Thursday afternoon.

Police say the man did not pull over right away, but was eventually stopped at County Road 503 and Donroy Road.

Police found a radar detector in the vehicle, which was seized.
