Stay clear of alcohol before jumping in a vehicle

The Haliburton Highlands OPP wants drivers to know any amount of alcohol or other drugs can affect your ability to drive.

On Wednesday, police stopped a vehicle on Highway 118 in Minden Hills.

Constable Tim Negus says the driver had been drinking alcohol.

The 58-year-old man from Gravenhurst was taken to the police station and charged.

His license has also been suspended for 90 days.

He will appear in Minden court on October 5th.
