Officials say be prepared for strong wind gusts, large hail, and heavy rain.
They say when thunder roars, go indoors.
This is because lightning kills and injures Canadians every year.
Severe thunderstorm watches are issued when thunderstorms can produce one or more of the following: large hail, damaging winds, and torrential rainfall.
