News A bigger and better Farmer’s Market SHARE ON: Smith Autumn, contributor, Friday, Mar. 14th, 2014 Haliburton county can expect something bigger and better from the Farmer’s Markets this year. After last year’s success, Market Director Fay Martin says the board is looking to add more to the market this year like music, art, on site food and recreation activities. Martin says they have ideas to partner with Rails End and Dysart’s recreation program to make these changes happen. The board met this week with their new market manager to start planning. The Haliburton market will start in May and the Carnarvon market will begin in June with both running until October.
