Bracebridge Generation has purchased three waterpower generation companies in Haliburton County.
Drag River Water Power Corporation and Irondale River Water Power Corporation have been acquired.
Elliot Falls Power Corporation has also been purchased, which took seven years of negotiations.
CEO of parent company Lakeland Holding Chris Litschko says he liked the plant from the start.

He’s looking forward to generating green electricity well into the future.
Litschko says in 2017, the company will have invested $50 million since 2005.
