The Haliburton Junction Skate Park Committee has submitted an application to the Ontario Trillium Foundation.
Recreation Program Coordinator Andrea Mueller says they are asking for a $60,000 grant to improve the skate park.
Mueller says they will know the outcome in December.
As of right now, $25,000 has been raised for the project.
The goal is to get over $100,000.
