Hike Haliburton has re-opened registration for some of its popular hikes after a high demand.
This was made possible because leaders agreed to take more people on their hikes.
Program Manager Barrie Martin says over 1,200 people have signed up so far.
Martin says there are over 80 guided hikes this year.

This is the first year the event has a Presenting Sponsor which is Adventure Canada.
The company has also signed on to a partnership for 2017.
The 14th annual event starts on September 22nd, and ends on the 25th.
