Long weekend keeps OPP busy

The Haliburton Highlands OPP had a busy long weekend.

From October 7th, to the 11th, police laid 91 speed-related charges.

Constable Tim Negus says there were 11 ATV charges.

Negus says police also laid two impaired charges, and one seatbelt fine.

During the holiday weekend, the OPP focused on seat belt usage, distracted driving, speed and alcohol consumption.
