News Our chamber wants the government to support small business growth SHARE ON: Kaitlin Livingston, contributor, Tuesday, Oct. 18th, 2016 Our local chamber has released its Obstacles and Opportunities for Small Businesses report. This is the result of detailed consultations over six months held by 25 chambers of commerce, boards of trade and hundreds of small business owners throughout the province. Manager Autumn Smith says the report shows local business owners are facing big obstacles. //www.myhaliburtonnow.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/10/Chamber-V1.mp3 Smith says the government needs to work with the provincial and federal governments to ensure investments and programs are targeted to reduce operational costs to support business growth.
